task manager shows 3 cores 6 logical

hi

as title shows when i open task manager click on performance tag it shows only 3 cores and 6 logical processors

i have 8700k cpu and i am sure with HT enabled it always showed 6 cores and 12 logical processors

checked in bios and it says 6 cores/12 logical

just updated bios to 1602 on an rog maximus x hero

but i am getting same information in task manager

i would appreciate any help on this matter as i have never seen this before

hope someone out there could enlighten me please
