September 12, 20187 yr Hello, I just upgraded to P3D and I am very happy, However, I have a very big issue with the Proatc-X installation. when I install proatc-X, and try to import the data, it tells me I have to read the scenery first. Whenever I press that button, it tells me that the Makerwys.exe file is not found. I have tried to solve it the way in the shared video below, but with no succes. I already uninstalled Proatc-X 3 times now, and now I really don't know what to do anymore. It has made me very stressed out. I hope someone can help me with this problem. Noah

It should at least be version 4861 2. Copy MakeRwys.exe AND LorbySceneryExport.exe out of the zip you downloaded into the main P3D folder. (If you don't see that Lorby exe you are using a too old version of MakeRwys.) 3. Manually run MakeRwys (from within the P3D folder) as an admin and it should show you a progress bar when it is collecting data. 4. As soon as that is done, start ProATC, go to the Import AIRAC data and immediately click on Start Import. So SKIP Read Scenery!!! This should do the trick. Edited September 12, 20187 yr by Guest
September 12, 20187 yr Author Thank you for your very quick response! But that is exactly what I have done, but with no succes.. Any other suggestions? It show this after I have ran the file as admin: ''Failed to makeall of the data files!'' Edited September 12, 20187 yr by noahjpn
September 12, 20187 yr Well, you said you did what that video showed you but as far as I can tell that video tells you to click on Read scenery. Which you shouldn't do! That video was made before LorbySceneryExport.exe was even released. So are you SURE you did it the way I posted or did you do it the way that video showed? Because he is doing something different! If you did what the video showed, start over again doing it my way. No need to reinstall ProATC all over again. This has only to do with the proper use of MakeRwys. You shouldn't touch that Read scenery button at all! Edited September 12, 20187 yr by Guest
September 12, 20187 yr Author I just tried it the way you told me to, with the same result. You were right about the read scenery button though, I did press it the first few times. But now it still show the same message: ''Failed to makeall of the data files!'' I would like to insert a screenshot, but i do not know how
September 12, 20187 yr Author Could it be possible that the error occures because I still have FSX:SE installed?
September 13, 20187 yr Author I finally got it. All I had to do was to copy my p3d icon from my desktop window to the p3d folder, and then follow the steps J van E discribed. Somehow the p3d.exe was not in the folder, causing the Makerunway file to not work.
September 14, 20187 yr Glad you've got it working. Sounds like you somehow put the exe on the desktop instead of a shortcut!
