Panel sizes for custom screen reolutions

 I have read in some posts, that people wanted to know, how to customize the size of their panels if they have a custom screen resolution. PMDG has provided different panel.cfg files for differen screen situations, e.g. 16x9, 4:3 etc., but what if you have an odd resolution like e.g. 4160x1024 in case you are using NVIDIAs Surround? 
 
 As I had to do it again for the new PMDG 747-8, I thought I will share it with you. Using the download link below, you can download a simple Excel-File that will do all the calculations for you - for the 747-400 and the 747-8 (just use the right table in the Excel file). A little howto is included. If you have some questions, please let me know.
