autogen

Featured Replies

Is there anyway I can edit autogen in fs2004.I would like to be able to exclude some or all buildings. Trees are OK but I find it a bit unreal to have high rise apartments appearing on on a small deserted island.Richard

Yes, Richard, what you want is easy enough.Perhaps it would be better to change the land class, instead of excluding objects - if so, please see "Simple Instructions for Modifying Land Class", in the Avsim library. To exclude, please try ExcBuilder, also in the library, and choose the "ExcludeAll" option to remove autogen objects. For more information, please visit the Scenery Design forum here at Avsim.Best regards.Luis

Many thanks Luis for your response.Looks interesting. I downloaded and installed all the necessary files for ExcBuilder only to find that when attempting to start the program I get an error message requiring msstdfmt.dll. I downloaded and installed this in Windows/system. -no difference.Maybe someone has had this problem. My OS is XP with SP2.Richard

Hi,Did you just place the .dll in the system folder or did you register it with the regsvr32.exe command?Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
