7.4.2: i am on ground and voxatc thinks I'm airborne

Recommended Posts

Hi,

On some Airports (not all) i get in case of a taxi request the message "unable at this time" and the instruction

"fly heading zero six five  climb to altitude three thousand..."

Voxatc 7.42 (Not observed in version 6) does not seem to realize that I'm still on the ground  as seen in the logfile:

Are you using a third party version of EDDC, for example? The first thing that I would check is whether you have another 3rd party version of EDDC installed. The most common culprit would be My Traffic 6. Second, it appears that you are flying without loading a flightplan, I can't say I've ever tried doing that at a bigger airport. I've also noticed that none of those route locations in the logfile seem to be near the Dresden Airport.

Just to add to my previous response. Here's the answer to one of the FAQs from the VOXATC official website:

Quote

After starting up, why does VoxATC X instruct me to contact a center or approach ATC unit when I am on the ground at the departure airport

This can occur when you load another flight (situation) with VoxATC enabled or if you move to another airport which is not the departure airport in the flight plan saved with the current flight (situation).

Ensure that when you enable VoxATC, you are at the departure airport for the currently loaded flight (situation) and that VoxATC is not enabled when you load a flight (situation).
