Do you fly X-Plane 737 on manual only?

This is my first attempts to fly an ILS in the Zibo Mod 737 on X-Plane 11.

I've a new rig arriving this week and plan on getting XP. BUT....I have downloaded the demo and the 737 felt like a plastic bag on the approach. I've flown a Cessna before and I am no 737 pilot, but it does seem very unrealistic unless the wind is so bad that the aircraft should be grounded in the first place.
