Motherboard Bottleneck?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I use the Prepar3D v4 and PMDG NGX, with two GPU's to handle more monitors for the instruments in 2D. The main GPU is a GTX 1070, which runs the scenery. The other one is a GT 1030. It is expected a FPS drop by undocking displays in PMDG, but I noticed a better performance using the onboard GPU (Intel 630) with the additional monitors, rather than using the GT 1030. My motherboard is the Gigabyte B250M Gaming 3. I'm nota an expert in this, but I was wondering if this motherboard can handle two GPU's without slowering the communication in some way (maybe a limited bandwidth?). Is that possible? If so, which motherboard can replace it?

My specs are:

Gigabyte B250M Gaming 3

Intel Core i7 7700 Watecooled

Zotac GTX 1070 8GB and Asus GT 1030 2GB

480 GB Sandisk SSD

32 GB of RAM at 2133 MHz DDR4

Thanks!
