No SVS in Pop up PFD

I purchased the TBM because of the G1000 and it's ability to use the Synthetic Vision I have in the C208 and the Phenom300.  Oddly, while it works fine in the TBM I find that when I bring up the pop up PFD it's the old one without SVS.  Everything else works on it just as on the one in the virtual cockpit but no SVS is even available.

Is this normal or have I done something wrong?  It works on the pop up PFDs on the other two aircraft.
