As its stands FSX will be shipping with 1M textures....with FSX being dubbed as the developers dream, could a addon developer produce 0.5M, making the textures even more detailed??i dont know if its possible or not, i just get the feeling that the scenery is going to let us down again, in FS9 we saw the weather engine fantastically remade(Hi-Fi), aircraft being built from the grounds up(LDS/PMDG)..... but the scenery textures just seemed to be tweaked and proded, which result in addons like ground enviroment...im no way saying these texture are not great, but i just wanted to know if its possible to remaster them?

The sliders in the demo seem to suggest that it can handle higher resolution textures.
