Can cockpit lights be turned on without the cabin lights ?

Recommended Posts

Some years back Carenado did cockpit lights correctly, but many of their newer releases have the majority of the instrument lights hooked in parallel with the cabin or overhead lights.

In these aircraft the instrument light switch only turns on a few instrument lights..  For the rest, you must illuminate  (sometimes very brightly) the entire cockpit with the overhead cabin-dome lights to get all the instrument lights on.  How about the Meridian ?  I can't seem find the answer by searching.

Thanx all.
