Suggestion for Named Assignments list

Featured Replies

I use the Named Assignments extensively and I have the following mapping:

  • Instruments - F Key
  • Wing - V Key
  • Pilot - R Key
  • Chase - C Key
  • Reset Camera - E Key
  • Movement - WASD

This works brilliantly and all aircraft have a standard expected pattern.

Planes with many pilot or instrument views (e.g Instruments (Lights), Instruments (Radios), can be quickly cycled through with the F Key. This has revolutionised P3D for me. But what I have found realised is that the next level would be to be able to Cycle backwards through a Named Assignment list just like you can with standard Presets.

For example I would like to also assign

  • Instruments (Previous) - Shift + F
  • Pilot (Previous) - Shift + R
  • Chase (Previous) - Shift + C

Just a thought, would give users the ability to create any number of custom cyclable lists.
