Disabling interior views with projectors

Recommended Posts

A question about using projectors with various aircraft types. I'm using Prepar3D v3.4. I don't want the aircraft interior to show in the projector view. In some aircraft types which have in the Models folder a file called airplanexx_interior.mdl  I am able to do this by "commenting out" the line in the model.cfg file that refers to that file, like this: //interior=cessna172sp_interior. This causes the display system to draw only the outside view.

Can anyone tell me how to do this for other aircraft which don't have the interior.mdl file? Is there an overall setting for projector use?

Many thanks in advance.

Don Whyte

I'm not sure what you're looking for - surely you can just set the view to 'cockpit' instead of 'virtual cockpit'? As long as you don't pan more than 45 degrees each way you won't see any interior.
