August 10, 200619 yr Is all of the expected eye candy in the demo version? For the life of me, I can't see reflection on wet pavement, it doesn't look wet at all.I do love the new waterspray and jetwash effect on the pavement though.CH
August 10, 200619 yr Hi,What video card do you have? I've not tried on the lower detail levels, but I think you need to have a fairly powerful card *and* set the 'Water Detail' slider in the Scenery config quite high for things like reflections to show.Cheers,Jim
August 10, 200619 yr Ya water reflections are showing up on mine so probably just a setting in your display options.
August 10, 200619 yr I think I had the water on high, but not the highest. My Machine is not what it once was. P4 1.8, Nvidia FX5600 Ultra, 1 gig ram. I'll try some more settings tonight.CH
August 10, 200619 yr Yes, the FX5600 will get shredded if you push the details too high. It doesn't support Shader 2.0 (?) or 3.0 (certain of) either.Even my 7800GTX is beaten down with the options turned -all- the way up. I'm working on finding a happy middle right now. The rain-slicked runway looks nice. It kinda resembles the shader-based wet I saw in Splinter Cel: Chaos Theory on the PC (Shader 3.0 feature).
