For every1 on a budget like me running older machines, do not go near fsx unless you plan on buying a new PC!!I tested demo on my current machine:-Celeron 2.5ghz1gig ddrradeon 9550 128wow slideshow!!I am really impressed by all of the new options available in fsx, thr groun resolution slider can go to 7CM!!I for one will be buying a pc, the following:-http://www.pcoption.co.uk/pcbaseunits/index5d_x1600amdx2.htmAll my budget allows,Does everyone think that machine will handle FSX with its glory???? ie the new water etc....The screenshots of faster machines running it look amazing!!Ian

Hi,You did try it *without* the ground slider set to 7cm, right? :) Defrag everything in sight, set the sliders to 'Medium' or 'Low' and see what happens.Cheers,Jim

On AMD 2.2 Ghz, e-machine, 1 gb ram, geforce 6600 GT agp I'm locked at 20 on low settings, I can maintain that and medium settings but once the sliders go to the right it's trouble, though graphically not to bad at all.Ian.

P4 2.8 GhzRadeon 9550 256 MB (altough it could be 128...I don't remember right now).I can keep 20 fps at the default settings (pretty low). I get even more when I turn off water effects. Haven't tried turning off AI yet (I like it too much). It sure looks nice on all those high end video cards, though :)Earl
