FSX Performance observations

Hi. So I just got the FSX demo downloaded and installed on my rig (see sig)..1. Takes a very long time to load..I didn't time it, but if people thought FS9 with Megascenery took a long time to load up, wait until you see this..2. Water effects need to be optimized... With no water effects, I was getting 25 FPS on the runway..with water effects maxed out, I was getting 6...none of the PS 2.x modes provide reasonable performance, all causing a 75%+ drop compared to no water effects.My PS 2.0b capable X800XT card shouldn't have to fall back on DX8 shaders to run at an acceptable performance level..the PS2 modes are obviously there for pre-PS3.0 cards, and as such, should provide acceptable performance on those.
