Vehicle Colors

I noticed by pausing the demo video that the cars seem to be of Red, Green, Grey, White only which will look too repetitive. If there is not a greater variety, then maybe ACES, someone else or myself would find this following chart handy to add more colors:http://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0855652.htmlCarmine http://forums.avsim.net/images/wave.gif

I'm sure someone will make new cars ( various models / etc ) and hopefully someone will even be able to make traffic appear on smaller roads ( just very spaced out ). The ability to change the sim so much is what I love about MSFS. They build the platform from which all the 3rd party devs can build on.

I think, it is very difficult to find out some algorithm, in some regions. ;)

Ha, you'd think they'd put a light there wouldn't you? Sort of a free for all logic would apply. Good luck with that programming nightmare. Ian.

You will be able to create and use new vehicles for road traffic. The SDK should have all the details you need.

Mike, Will someone out there be able add traffic where traffic currently doesn't exist? ( 1 lane roads, etc ) Along the same lines can they control the density of the traffic? If both of the above hold true I can see some awesome potential for this. ;)

My AutoAsm program can add animated road traffic for FS2004. But as it is of course based on the existing (and very primitive) animation system it is severely limited (e.g. a maximum of about 200 objects). I'm sure there will be no such limitations in the FSX system. I may well bring out a new version of AutoAsm that supports the new animation system. As the SDK's will be on the DVD this should be a lot easier and quicker. The timely release of the SDK's is yet another huge improvement over FS2004! Best regards, Chris
