March 6, 20197 yr I read here recently someone is using a new Mini-PC networked to their main P3D PC to run add-ons (with monitors dedicated to the add-on). Sounds like a good idea. I'm particularly interested in having a hardware-based GPS (probably GNS-530/430 combination). I see that RealSimGear sells a 530/430 bundle that contains their own monitors, each one needing to be connected to the PC running P3D. Flight 1 Aviation Technologies (not to be confused with Flight1.com) also sells one, the difference being that it can run on a PC not running P3D but connected to it via a LAN. I prefer that second option, but Flight 1 Aviation Technologies does not market the combined 530/430. I already have 2 PCs running my sim cockpit with 6 monitors. Adding 2 more monitors, even though little, will take an additional 2 video outputs. My question...Does it seem reasonable to you all that a Mini-PC (for about $200; just enter "Mini PC" at Amazon and there are many options) running a third copy of P3D and connected to my LAN would do the job? Thanks much. Scott
