April 27, 20197 yr Hi, I am going through a complete S/W install and from Windows 7 to Windows 10, oh what a headache. I have three Logitech/Saitek panels and am trying to make them work. Installed the drivers from Logitech, but no go. the device control panels show up and the lights will come on for a few seconds and the off. Trouble shooting indicates that these panels require USB 2 connections. My M/B is a Asus Rog Strix E390-E which seem to have mostly USB 3 ports. Can anyone confirm that only USB 2 ports work with these devices????? I thought that these ports are backward compatible??. I just had my PC upgraded from an 7 year old processor to a 9700K. The panelsl worked fine before the upgrade and in Windows 7. Thanks for some info. My System: Intel 9700K 4.7Gz, ROG Strix Z390-E Gaming, 32 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200MHZ, Evga 3070TI 8GB, Noctua NH-D15S, Gigabyte 27" Monitor, Windows 10 64bit, 2xSamsung 500GB SSD, 1x Samsung 120GB, 1x Samsung 970, 1TB, 1TB H/D for Storage. May 2, 20197 yr I had a similar issue and I almost relegated my FIPs to storage until I found a utility that solved the problem. The link is in the post here. Hope this helps.
