Should I remove zip files?

Hello guys

I recently noticed that my D drive is full. Looking into it I noticed that all zip files of the downloaded software is yet there. Even from Prepar3d which is a large file and the one from Seattle scenery. Should I remove all zip files or are they there for a reason?

Your ZIP files contain your installers. If you install an extra drive HDD, SSD, or an M.2 drive you can use it to save/backup your zip files and not have to re-download your installers later if needed.

Thank you dear Bill. As they take a lot of space, Can I simply remove them from the hard and save them to an external?
