Following your link, do you see the ILS 3d visual aid that is also see thru? I feel another training aid would be incorporate airport airspaces that showed up like that when enabled. Like blue and magenta cylinders showing ceilings and floors of CLass D,C,B and uncontrolled fields also MOAs, restricted, prohibited etc. A feature like that would help new comers as well as pilots wanting to plan cross country flights. It would be a 3d way to get a real good look at how the airspaces are done.Jack

Yeah (a little more defined and within the sim not a chart map but yeah exactly.)You state that its amazing, do you feel having a feature like this in FS as an option would be something many users could benefit from? I just feel that the airspaces are already there since that what the ATC engine must use but now it just needs to be colored to provide a 3d effect.Jack

Sure it would-there is lots of training potential. I might be dreaming but didn't Atp from years ago have something like this. Seems to me it would even depict an airport pattern-a program way ahead of its time...http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

Seems like you could do this today with some creative scenery object creation.
