In XP11.35 unable to activate a joystick " Fire Guns", can only get a keyboard button to work. All other of the joystick functions OK. Found no help in the dev's manuals. Any ideas?

I finally got it done, don't know what I was doing wrong.

Additional comment that did add confusion to the button assignments: I have to add 1 to the numbers shown on the written instructions that came with the controller, i.e. button "14" must be assigned as button "15", etc. Found this out by trial and error and then when went to their website found confirmation.
