AI Characteristics In FSX

Featured Replies

After spending the last few days reading all the interesting posts about FSX, I was hoping to read some thoughts/questions on AI behaviour. But very little on the subject so far.Is there any news on how FSX will handle AI. I did read somewhere about "live" AI. Anyone have any ideas on what this will mean. Will AI only use direct flightplans as we have in FS9 ?Will the current process of parking codes in AFCADs be continued ? In fact will the AFCAD system still be retained ?Will FDE's be simplified for AI ?Any change with the AI default sounds ?Would be nice to see separation :)I better stop before the keyboard starts complaining :)FS9 was a great leap forward goin the way FS handles AI but will the same sort of leap be seen in FSX. If so how much would this impact on the work done by the AI freeware community over the past 3-4 years. (or payware)RegardsMark

Great questions Mark, answers to which I'd LOVE to hear myself.J-

Yeah Interesting questions. Dunno the answers to em but I heared a while ago that the new FS will have more advanced AI sounds like spooling up and stuff, but can't remember where and I don't know if it's true so don't hang me on it :) Im pretty sure MS will deliver a great product and it's a good thing they are willing to listen to the community.:) :-waveshocky :-hah
