AutoStar released for FSX

Featured Replies

I'm happy to announce the release of AutoStarX, a new version of AutoStar for Flight Simulator X. The star system in FSX is greatly enhanced (stars are now displayed in full 24 bit colour) and AutoStarX takes advantage of this. It can display the following types of object in the FSX night sky:1. The brighter planets with optional name labels. The user can assign the colour and brightness for each planet. The planets are displayed in the correct position for any defined date.2. A comet. Due to the 24 bit colour display system comet images can be very realistic.3. An image or message e.g. 'Happy birthday!'4. The celestial circles.5. User objects. You can create new objects (e.g. a Messier object) and add them to the database. Several objects are supplied in the zip: three Messier objects including the Andromeda Galaxy and two lunar eclipse images. You can get AutoStarX here: http://www.kline.demon.co.uk/AutoStarX.zip Some screenshots:EDIT: Chris, sorry to have to do this, but most of those images exceeded our size policies. Please repost but no larger than 1024 in width and into our Screen Shots forum. Thanks. Enjoy. Best regards, Chris Wright

Great work, but im having trouble with the download link, i will try again later.

I checked the link, it seems fine. If it still doesn't work let me know and I could email it to you, it's less than 200K. Best regards, Chris
