  • Hello all:
    I am a new 777 pilot and really enjoying the aircraft. I have a question on saving panel states. I have developed a process by which I can avoid VAS shutdowns. The procedure is that as soon as I hear the FSUIPC chime I exit the sim and reload. Success with this procedure requires the aircraft flying to "wake up" with everything loaded when shut down. Based on my understanding, it seems that the 777 should reload with the same panel state as when shut down, i.e, flight plan in the FMS and complete panel state. Is that a correct understanding, or am I missing something here. By the way, I have the panel state selected Previous Flight, so that when I complete a flight and exit the sim, and subsequently restart, the panel state loads perfectly.
