1, yes if it same , but think its hard to find same sticks after 1.5-2 years,

Trident Z have to differnt PCB one called RGB thats 8/2 chip config then the non RGB 8/1 , it can happen that they start do all with 8/2

2. short one, when its the same PCB and same Chip B-die you can mix them , the B-die chip have a very broad quality spectrum and now when samsung stop make the B-die the binning ar thighter.( old 3200c14 sets have higher quality then the new ones)

i have tested to run different G-Skill mem modules on X299, 3200, 3600 c15 and c16,4133,4266,4600  the 3200 was Ripjaws V rest Trident Z all with same pcb 3200,3600 c15, 3600 c16, 4133  thats 4 differnt sticks , 3200xmp ok , 3600 c16 ok 3600c15 okl ,4133 fail the 3200 stick was the weak mem.

4133 xmp was doable on all other sticks mixing them in differnt  setups.

hope this clear things up

Thank you very much

much appreciated.

i did just purchase the g skill above 16gb at a good price
