How do you click on VC button/switch in P3D v4.5 with Oculus VR?

Almost an embarrassing question, but how do I press a VC button/click a switch using the Oculus VR option in P3D v4.5? I am sure that this glaringly simple but cannot find it at the moment. I can point at the control button/switch with no difficulty but do not know how to activate it.

I am using an Oculus Rift S.

One further thing, in an A320 for example, how can we use gaze selection to adjust speed/altitude etc.?
