Hello guys ,

maybe one of you can help me

i go ahead and upgrade my computer system and my home simulator

here is my setup :

the computer i got is the one on amazon you can find it in this link

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07J59V6PR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i got RTX 2070 8GB to run  my instrument monitors (PFD,MFD and 2 standby gauges monitor so total of 4 monitors on the 2070 )

i also got RTX 2080 RTX TI 11gb and i have 3 tv's 55 inch each that showing the visual (front view, left view, right view) also to this card i connect a small 20 inch monitor to operate the entire simulator

i am using virtual cockpit view (for left, right, front) and undock them to the proper monitor

i also have mindstar aviation G1000 and i undock the PFD and MFD to the proper monitor as well

the gauges monitor is populate with flight1tech software (just 4 gauges )

now here is my problem , maybe my setup is not correct or i am missing something but here what happens

the original system have 2 RTX 2070 8GB and i was getting 20-24 frame rate i change it to the 11gb 2080 TI in order to get more frame rate my common seance tell me more memory - newer card = better graphics and frame rate

not that i am not getting the same frame rate i am getting less 18-21

is there something i need to check ?

system have 32 gb

maybe power supply ?

getting hot ? (what is the optimal CPU temperature?)

something ?

if someone know please help me

Thank you

Your running way to many monitors off of 1 machine. The 3 55 inch tv's in itself require a lot of cpu and video card power and depending on your motherboard having those 2 video cards installed will cut your 16x Pcie lanes down too 8x.

Id recommend moving the extra 20" monitor that you use to run the simulator to an external usb display adapter. same for the G1000 .I would also look at moving your instrument monitors to another machine and network. Every window you open is another drain on the cpu.  If another system is not possible then try and move as many items as you can to usb display adapters to take the load off the main gpu.

Without looking at your config files, settings, driver install etc,  its pretty clear to me that the quantity and your mix and match of display outputs is what is causing your system to run at its max regardless of the newer video card.
