Question for Tom Allensworth re: FSX

Featured Replies

Tom, Will there be a seperate FSX Forum either prior to or upon it's release? Also...if any other folks read this post. We all know that upon the release of FSX posts to the forums will no doubt increase. We all know that some folks will say it's the best invention since slice bread and folks will be posting to say they are getting 60 fps on a P4 2.4 etc. Other folks will post and say they are getting a slide show with the most up to date machine out there. The point is...if we could get all folks to use a certain benchmark of settings within FSX as well as post their machine specs then perhaps we could compare apples to apples. Any ideas on how to accomplish that? Thanks, Craig

I believe that a benchmark protocol is one fo the `new` things that FSX will allow- the sharing of the file parameters to allow direct and repeatable comparison.Allcott

Hi,And for your first question: there was and it has been merged, the same as FS98, FS2000, FS2002, and FS2004 were. No, there are no plans to put FSX separate!Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
