When I am flying a prop, I can hear the engine in the center front speaker of my 5.1 system. But when I move my head with the hat switch to the left or right, instead of that engine sound cycling to other speakers, it disappears completely. Does this happen to anyone else?

I havn't tried it yet with my 7.1 speaker system. I was hoping that ATC would come out the front speaker. I'd heard somewhere that FSX would be 5.1 sound, while at the same time, being able to hook up headphones just for the ATC portion. It was thought that ATC would use the center channel, but after reading your post, it would seem not.
