I started another post here this week as I was having regular CTD's. What I found was some errors in the actual FS9.1 program on the computer Mostly scenery. I tried to reinstall from the disk by these are somewhat old and the clean install was not successful ( small scratches on the original disks), so I wanted to know if there is a UTILTY that can scan the fs and repair errors. Many of the MS products have such a utility.If I cant find one Im going to have to buy a new FS program which I am loath to do given FSx is just about on the horizonThoughtsPeter

Small scratches on the install disk can be fixed with some toothpaste rubbed gently on the surface with a finger, then rinsed off. Dry the disk thoroughly then try reading it again. You might be lucky!Allcott
