FS9 CTD and Windows Security Logon Events 528 and 576

Recommended Posts

I'm running FS9 version 9.1 under Windows XP Home, patched up-to-date.I have add-ons too numerous to mention (inc. AS6, GE Pro and SoftHorizons), a lot of AI and I am using FSAutostart to shut down various Services before loading FS9.I suffer from repeated CTD's - I have done 2 re-installs, I don't have any duplicate Afcads but I might be exposed to bad textire files.Having had 2 CTD's this evening, I started poking around in the Windows Event Viewer.Comparing the Application and Security pages I see the following correlation.Flight Simulator CTD Windows Operating System Event 1000 Event ID 528 Log-on/log-off & 576 Privilege Use02/10/06 21:16:20 21:16:1802/10/06 20:29:30 20:29:2725/09/06 20:53:58 20:53:57 25/09/06 19:37:19 19:37:1824/09/06 14:42:19 14:42:18I.e. Every one of my last 5 CTD's coincide with Windows doing Security Audit Event 528 SE_AUDITID_SUCCESSFUL_LOGON and 576 SE_AUDITID_ASSIGN_SPECIAL_PRIV, which it appears to be doing in pairs - usually every 30 minutes or so.Am I seeing cause or effect here or nothing at all?
