Hi,

I have just updated my FSPXAI A340 to the latest version and installed the PBR No DL models which I assume are the right ones to work with AILP. Then as suggested on a previous topic I went to the P3D Preview settings to see the new effects.

On all of my FSPXAI A340-500 and A340-600 entries it shows a red triangle warning in AILP preview settings, stating "This AI model has effects attached via 3DS Max or Blender. These are not suitable for light settings previews, ......."

It doesn't say this on the A340-300 though.

Have I set this up wrong or is that correct.

1) Use the PBR with DL models.

2) The warning is normal. Mitssi wanted to attach the effects via the model. Due to this P3D will put the effects in memory cache making it impossible to be changed at runtime. Instead P3D needs to restart to see the changes. This is why you see the warning. But it doesn't mean the effects will not work.

Just scan, apply, load P3D, find the A340 in the list, hit preview and you will see the effects working.

However if you change the effects, you cannot see them changing on these models without restarting P3D. This is a P3D SDK limitation at the moment.

You can select another model for live preview, click apply and the changes will take place for Mitssi models anyway. It is just you cannot see them instantly.
