Hi,

Im trying to install RC into P3DV4. Previously I had FSX SE. Installer for FSUIPC4.DLL version 4.152 says: Couldn't obtain Version Info! Asking user to find FSX.EXE. I tried to fake fsx.exe in P3D folder or point it to P3D. But everytime I just get this message: 

User identified path:
   "C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4"
Checking version of FSX.EXE:
Couldn't obtain Version Info! Asking user to find FSX.EXE ...

Can you help me how to continue installation?

Firstly, you don't need to install RC4  INTO P3Dv4. Just install it to C:\RC4.

Create a text file and rename it to FSX.EXE. It's just a dummy to satisfy RC4 install.

Make sure you run the RC4 installer with Administrator privileges.

Is it even important to finish Installer for FSUIPC within Radar Contact installation?

 

It seems now that installer ended without installing FSUIP. So I will try RC later when I have more time.

That was the FSUIPC installer which you can ignore. Just make sure you have v4.974 by visiting Pete's website.
