User aircraft not visible on map, go to places aircraft greyed out, on opening LNM doesn’t find airport selected!

You have to connect to your sim while it's running.  The command is in the Tools tab.  Also, if you haven't loaded your scenery into LNM, this needs to be done for each sim you use.  Otherwise, you may get disagreements about runways, taxiways, etc. in your 3rd party software.   RTFM
