Watch out for windowed mode. FS9 seemed to have same performance in windowed and full screen. FSX seems to have much better performance in full screen than windowed.

RIGHT click your desktop to get this box and you can change the colors or go back to win98 type windows, looks a lot better than the winxp.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158514.gif

Looking at the picture above, from there click on advanced. From there you can change just about everything. Active title bar, window borders etc. Just change them to black.Dave
