Display Issues with multi monitor setup

I have a nice little home built sim with multiple screens. My Problem is that when I use Shift 1 to display the Main panel and then drag it off to another physical screen the main display is left filling only the top half of the screen and I have to drag it down to the bottom to fill the screen with the image. Does anybody have any way to stop this happening.
