Hi I am spending my first minutes in FSX and unfortunately in the outside view my A/C does not have any windows :-) It just seems like it is a hole and no glass. In the VC view however I think there is, as there are "reflections" from the instruments etc.Anyone has an idea what this could be? My graphic card: Nvidia GeForce 4 Ti 4600 with the latest driver from nvidia.comThanks :-)Christian

Could be your card does not support directX 9.

I had a similar issue with FS9 and my old GeForce 2, where I could not get water reflections to display. Only an upgrade to a GeForce 4 a few years back allowed me to get water reflections back.With the arrival of PCI-E, AGP cards are pretty cheap. Maybe someone here can suggest an AGP card that shows FS-X in its proper glory.-John

yeah, I am getting a new PC once VISA is out and we know what FSX really needs. So I just installed FSX to fly around a little bit for the moment until I get this PC. Anyway, I find it strange that in the VC the "glass" is that is why I found it strange.Thanks for your inputChristian

I'm using an x850 xt pe/pci-e and I have no glass in my R44 Robinson from Swedbird.

There are outside glass cockpit textures for all the aircraft EXCEPT for the CRJ and Lear.The CRJ had them in the first demo, but they were removed after that for some reason. :(The Lear has never had them. :(Can one of the Ace's guy help out here?My specs. are in my sig (I use the latest drivers for the videocard and all hardware of course).
