FSX and AI traffic

Featured Replies

I've just tried using FS9 AI and flightplans in FSX and they seem to be working without problem. I have all my commercial traffic in one BGL. I left the default flightplan BGL in place as I still wanted to have the new GA flying around. However, to my surprise it only loaded my AI and not the ones in the supplied BGL. It's not a real problem because I can always use the GA file from FS9.Does anyone understand what's going on? Does FSX detect new flightplans then automatically ignore the ones it comess with, or is this a bug?

As nobody else has spotted this, is this a problem local to me only? It's very weird. I can add as many flightplan BGLs to the folder and it observes all of them, except the FSX aircraft one. Take them all out and the default one works! The boats one works fine whatever else is added.

I moved over a small AI package from FS9 and the default still showed up. Bill

I installed FSX last weekend and experienced the same problem with AI aircraft. All the added flightplans are fine, but the default traffic doesn't show up.World of AI released an AI installer package for FSX and I will try this later today. Hope it helps! I will let you know what the results are.

Did you have any luck with the WoI installer? I've tried various BGL files, PAI, WoAI, my own and it always happens. As soon as its placed into the folder it disables the default FSX one. The odd thing is, if you then minimize FSX, remove the default BGL , then return to FSX it comes up with a Scenery Dat error!. Why aren't they being shown?
