October 15, 200619 yr In FSX AI aircraft can land and take off on the same runaway, in oposite directions, at the same time. :-grnmd
October 15, 200619 yr Hi,FSX is much "better" at switching runways when the wind shifts. FS2004 will not switch runways if any traffic is bound for the old runway. This has been eliminated in FSX. If the wind shift leads to using the other end of the same runway, then you will get the result you see. A quick reset of the AI traffic (in FS2004 this was attained by choosing World/Map, changing your heading by 1 degree, and clicking OK) should stop this.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___ Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
October 15, 200619 yr I understand what they were trying to achieve but result is ridiculous. I saw aircraft taking off rwy 10 with another landing at rwy 28 AT THE SAME TIME.
