Scenery Complexity setting - Another FPS resource hog?

OK,This is not a revelation, but can others verify when you turn down the Scenery Complexity from the Max setting of Extremely Dense to one notch down of Very Dense, the FPS will increase by about 4-6 FPS?I know this is what gives the larger airports all the extra stuff (more jetways, etc.), but I found that with this set to Max at KSFO, my FPS plummeted when I turned towards to airport. When farther from KSFO (a few miles near the city), the FPS was in the high teens.JerryG
