October 16, 200619 yr Haven't tried this yet. I just found it on the FlightSim.com message forum. "New way to increase FPS..." .... well atleast it did for me. I picked up my FSX copy friday at my local gamestop (deluxe edition). I had been getting around 17 FPS no matter what settings i had tried, even with everything all the way down, the max i would get was 20, but then i saw that Thermal Visualization was set to "Natural". I set this to "None" and my fps nearly went up by 20!!! Just sharing, hope it helps"
October 16, 200619 yr Just tried it, but only made 0.5fps difference at Nice, France. Maybe makes a difference depending on where you are located?
