Haven't tried this yet. I just found it on the FlightSim.com message forum. "New way to increase FPS..." .... well atleast it did for me. I picked up my FSX copy friday at my local gamestop (deluxe edition). I had been getting around 17 FPS no matter what settings i had tried, even with everything all the way down, the max i would get was 20, but then i saw that Thermal Visualization was set to "Natural". I set this to "None" and my fps nearly went up by 20!!! Just sharing, hope it helps"

Just tried it, but only made 0.5fps difference at Nice, France. Maybe makes a difference depending on where you are located?

Hello,Where do you find this "Thermal Visualization option"?In the FSX.cfg?
