October 16, 200619 yr I have noticed a lot of rather thick "green lines" in the FSXscenery in Topview-mode that are not roads or railways.(in my sample LAT:N52 12.86 LON:E7 1.87)Anybody else noticed this?Who can gives an explanation for this?byeBert
October 16, 200619 yr They are the power cable lines. Same as FS9. Zoom in and the towers will be visible. There is a setting to turn the texture uinderlay OFF in FS9, but don't know if it works in FSX. In some places the cable runs are also firebreaks or access roads. Here in the UK where the towers are just placed in the landscape, the green lines look utterly stupid. It's a shame they didn't regionalise these options for FSX.Allcott
October 16, 200619 yr Hi Bert,I think those are the powerlines. In FS9 you could also see the towers I can't see it if they are in your screenshot. (might be governed by the autogenslider if you see the towers or not)
October 16, 200619 yr hi Allcot & Boshar,The "green lines" were indeed power cable lines. At the moment of viewing i had the autogen slider at parse and no Towers could be seen.Thank you both for your quick reply.byeBerthttp://www.worldoffs.com

Vince Carlo who posted it. http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=19175byebertQUOTED:Aesthetics
