RXP GTN750 Airac update by Navigraph

Featured Replies

I am looking to update the RXP GTN750 AIRAC to the last 2004 cycle from Navigraph, but I do not find on the available list any for GTN750.

Anyone knows which one must I select to do it?

Cheers,

Roberto

It is impossible to update the RXP GTN database using Navigraph. The database is actually contained in the Garmin trainer, and is an outdated version of the real database used in the actual GTN750.

The databases are the property of Garmin. They are in a proprietary format, and encrypted because they could (potentially) be used in a real aircraft. There is no possibility for a service like Navigraph to create a database that would work with the Garmin trainer.

From time to time Garmin releases a new version of the trainer which will have a more recent database, but it will never be the most current - it will always be at least a few months old.

The only way to get the most current database would be to buy a subscription for a real GTN750 from Garmin, but AFAIK, you have to be a registered owner of an aircraft equipped with a real GTN to subscribe, and even then, the subscription is extremely expensive.
