New motherboard - Problem with Viewgroup

Featured Replies

Hello,

Since changing the motherboard/CPU of my P3D computer I am having a problem with the viewgroup / FlyElise warping in P3Dv4.5:

I am using 3 projectors. Only the main (left) screen is showing a warped picture now. Center and right projector show a normal "straight" perspective for their field of view.

What is giving me a headache, is that I am using the identical viewgroup.xml in P3D and identical multicalib files and identical settings within Immersive Display Pro, which used to work before the hardware change.

What I already tried:

  • reinstalled Display Pro
  • updated graphics drivers
  • created new frustum files and viewgroup.xml
  • new autogenerated p3d.cfg
  • new autogenerated viewgroup.xml and re-inserting the projectors to it

Also I noticed a flickering only on the main (warped) screen, while the other 2 where fine. After changing some settings this was solved. However, it appears, that it is just the main screen that is reacting to what I want. Could it be, that due to the motherboard change P3D can not read some of the settings??? Everything else appears to work great and I would like to avoid a complete reinstall of Windows and/or P3D....

Every hint is appreciated. I am desperate!

Thanks,

Michael
