Why are folders from my v4 install in v5 simobjects?

Hi again.

Today i made a "find" that makes me a bit curious of the mechanic and reason behind this "feature", wherever it has its offspring.

In the folder

AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\SimObjects

i have all the folders from payware airports that i have in my v4 install. How did this happen? They are all empty but still, why are they there in v5? I dont have them installed and never had (in v5).

I can not really think of a way how this happened and even less a reason why this would happens.

Any ideas? SODE maybe?
