Modules or Documents-> Prepar3D v4 Add-ons -> FSUIPC6

Featured Replies

Hi,

First of all, Im very new to this stuff.

I just installed FSUIPC 6. I've read from all the forums that you need to paste the Linda files into the Modules folder of P3d. However, FSUIPC downloads in Documents-> Prepar3D v4 Add-ons -> FSUIPC6. Do I need to copy/paste the FSUIPC files into my P3d root modules folder? Or do I need to copy/paste the Linda files into Documents-> Prepar3D v4 Add-ons -> FSUIPC6?

Kind regards,

Jesper

Hi Jesper

I am assuming you have not used LINDA before. FSUIPC6 is really intended for P3Dv5 although it will work with P3Dv5 and P3Dv4.5 installed on the same system. Do you have P3Dv5?

To install LINDA 3.2.x you should follow the installation advice in the LINDA Downloads sub-forum and in the Release Notes include in the downloaded zip. That is why I spend a lot of time writing them.

Download and unzip the LINDA 3.2.x folder. Copy the LINDA.EXE, ipcReady.lua, Linda.lua, /linda and /linda-cfg into the /FSUIPC6 folder. Run P3D with a default aircraft and start LINDA. This should have things working. For any additional aircraft, download any LINDA Modules your require and use the Maintenance / Install Module option to install.

Thank you for your reply.

Im using P3d v4.5 and Fsuipc 6 registered version. I completed all installation steps and my default airplanes are correctly working. My Qualitywings is working as well which is great. However, I can't get my PMDG 737NGXu to work. I installed the right modules from the LINDA-> downloads section and my PMDG 737NGXu options.ini contains the [SDK] Enable DataBroadCasting line.

Is there anything else I can do?

Kind regards,

Jesper

Can you confirm in which directory PMDG 737NGXu is installed? Is it in P3D4/simobjects/airplanes?

Please follow the Fault Diagnosis Procedure tread instructions and email me your fsuipc6.log and linda2.log files.

Thank you for the logs. They show me that LINDA is loading the PMDG7373 NGXu files. However, they also show me that there are no assignments of functions to the buttons you are operating.

You need to assign your required function manually or copy your old set up from /modules/linda-cfg/aircrafts/pmdg 737ngxu to /fusipc6/linda-cfg/aircrafts/pmdg 737ngxu.
