October 19, 200619 yr Just flew the Cessna 172 along the Fl gulfcoast area. The beach scenery doesn't match for the most part, but it was still fun! The Airports/VOR's are all there, most of the roads, and Cities where they are supposed to be. Some scenery is correct, seems to depend if it is something well known or something big (ie large condos buildings, etc.) I then flew the Ultralite out of Ronald Regan Airport at DC and flew the Wash. Monument, White House, Capitol, etc, then land back at RR airport. Once again, a blast and Lots of true scenery. The Trike is REALLY fun to fly in sightseeing areas!Maybe it is because I last purchased FS2002 and Skipped FS2004, as I didn't have a computer fast enough for 2004 at that time. I never used or purchased add-ons... so not used to how well they may or may not look/work. PC I have now will obviously run FS2002 with everything at max, but FS2002 @Max to FSX @Medium difference, is well, ASTOUNDING!I have found some bugs and there is the occasional studder but I think (at least hope) that this version has a lot of promise in the future. I think if I had a better video card, my system would run a little better... It least good enough for my purposes till I get the next PC, LOL. My settings are at Approx. Medium and have the Autogen set at Sparse. Also, I hope the FS Franchise Updates NEVER END. With Fly, FlyII, Flight Unlimited and others long gone to the heap of history, we have few left to support this genre of software.
