X Plane 11 aircraft painting issue

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am trying to learn air craft painting for X plane 11.

I modified the painting on fuselage using the .dds file in object folder using photoshop and saved.

After finishing my paint I get a greenish colured paint and not the designed one.

Am I doing somethings wrong. Extremely thankful if you could help.

I have attached the picture

incorrect spellings due to mistake in the title.

Hello Rahal,

Trying to help you this way is a bit like speculation. It's guessing what might have gone wrong.

Could you try to attach the file as an attachment in this topic?

Regards,

Vital.

Hi Vital,

Unfortunately I deleted them in the process of trying to correct the issue.

I just saved the files using the option "Save as" and saved as .dds files using the Photoshop. I will try to convert files to dds using "psd to dds converter" and come back with results.

Extremely thank you for your willingness to offer help.

Thank you.

Hi Vital,

I managed to solve the problem. The error is incorrect format I suppose. When I merge the layers in photoshop to one and exported as psd file. Then I used a psd to dds converter to convert to get the final X Plane 11 recognized fuselage.dds. Perfectly fine now.

Regards,

Rahal
