FSX - Excellent Experience

Featured Replies

Been doing the flight sim thing since 1995. First started with great Comm 64 computer - man that was fun - I was hooked for life and have spent I don't know how much money supporting my flight sim interest - guess I could check Quicken but I don't think I really want to know. I do know computer hardware cost have gotten out of hand so I taught myself to build computers several years ago, of course with the help of excellent folks here at AVSIM.My point, I appreciate Microsoft and ALL the folks that have supported Flt Sim over the years - some no longer with us. Last evening I bought FSX/D at BB in E-town, KY because Computer Pilot had a problem with their supplier, loaded the program in about 25 min including Activation, defrag, made first C-172 VFR flight Louisville, KY, KSDF, Rwy 17L, Touch & Go, Left Pattern. It was an excellent experience flying over I-64, the city, and lined up for landing. Great stuff. Thanks Microsoft and to all of you! Looking forward to FSX & next version, maybe three years?Erv/KSDF, an old retired aircraft jet engine maintainerIntel Core 2 X6800(overclocked from 2.93 to 3.22), P5W Deluxe, Coolmax 650W, Corsair DII800 4G, two 74G/WD 10,000 drives, ASUS 1900XT/512 Card, CoolMaster TAC-T01
