With the help of a couple of friends I've discovered how to get around the limitations of framerates in FSX. Step 1 - Load FSX in the usual wayStep 2 - Adjust all sliders to the rightStep 3 - Choose a large city airport, making sure AI traffic is set to maximum. Los Angeles, New York and London are perfect to put this to the test. Note the poor frameratesStep 4 - Rapidly knock back five large glasses of Jack Daniels and wait 15 minutesStep 5 - Edit the smashed.cfg file and add the lines:[Main]Set_Inebriation_Factor=TrueJoystick_Jerkiness_Tolerance=MassiveStep 6 - Fly as normalYou should find your reactions slow to such an extent that FSX speeds up immeasurably. In exhaustive tests we managed to get 4000fps by the end of the evening. However, we did encounter substantially more blurries. And two of us crashed-to-desktop.:-beerchug :(
